Himoinsa is a family business whose main business area is the manufacture of power generators. The company began its operations in 1982 by importing industrial engines. Soon after, by assembling these engines with other components, HIMOINSA began to distribute its own products throughout the country. In 1996, Himoinsa began a policy of internationalization in Europe and Central America and, after ten years, is present in over 80 countries on five continents. HIMOINSA establishes itself as the third largest European power generator company by number of generators sold. In recent years, the company has made various and extensive investments in production facilities, new technologies and human capital in order to adapt to market conditions. Facilities in the region were modernized and new production facilities opened in countries such as Argentina, China and India. The company's headquarters are located in San Javier (Murcia, Spain). HIMOINSA designs and develops its own product range and carries out administrative tasks, business know-how, maintenance and sales. HIMOINSA is represented in Germany by a general importer with 24-hour customer service, warehouse and workshop.
