The term hybrid power generator, or hybrid generator, refers to new and innovative power generators. These power units consist of a combination of battery storage and a power generator, integrating both technologies into a single housing.
The units consist of a fully functional power generator with engine, generator and fuel tank, as well as a battery storage system with inverters and batteries. For mobile use, the hybrid generators are equipped with a Stage V engine and feature a variety of sockets and circuit breakers.
The batteries are either located in a protected area at the bottom of the housing, or in a thermally separated area next to the generator.
At low loads, consumers are supplied via the battery storage system. This energy storage system is then automatically recharged by the integrated generator. When higher loads are required, the battery storage system and generator work together, making the combined output of both components available.
